Firmware Updates Breaking Devices + Warranty Not Honored (Even on Premium Plan)
Seeing a lot of similar posts, and I’m going through the same thing. My camera went from fully working to completely dead (offline, won’t reconnect) with no warning. No notifications from Ring. Just stopped working. What’s worse is the support experience: Forced to repeat the same troubleshooting

no way to watch live feed without recording?
i just bought an indoor cam to check on my new dog when i leave the house. but i never imagined everything (or just every time something moves) would be recorded. i find that weird, but also, i have the 30 day trial of the ring service...if there is no way to watch the feed without recording does

Double charged for my plan
I just called ring to find out why I was double-charged for my annual plan and was told that the AI Plan was for professional monitoring. The rep said that this was included in the annual plan until now. Is this for real?

Ring Protect Trial?
I didn’t ask for this trial, it showed up the other day. I’ve disabled all the pro features as I’m not interested. Side effect of this trial seems to be that snapshot capture no longer works. I think this new bug needs to be documented with the Ring dev staff.
