I guess it lasts a few days, then it's deleted. So I am redoing it. The Ring Doorbell has a greeting that states, "Hi, you are being recorded!" Is there a way to silence this? I want the ring I used to have that said nothing, just recorded.

I plan to install wired Ring Doorbell plus next to my existing NuTone IM4006 system, could I just jump two wires from the existing door bell and connect to the Ring bell? do I need to turn off the breaker to do so?
