Second faulty door bell each this happens and now sent replacement to wrong address without over 3 weeks

Override light
Is there any way that I can using original light switch power ON/OFF the lights on Floodlight Cam Wired Plus or Pro, thus overriding the lights sensor and not effecting camera functionality.

Door/Contact Sensor to Activate Camera
I assumed you could set this up already, but from my reading online (and experience in the app) it doesn’t look like it’s currently possible. Scenario: I have a long walk up from my gate to my house, so much so the doorbell camera doesn’t detect motion until the person is past where it is mounted (
