New wired Doorbell not working 24hrs and not picking up some motion

I had a Ring doorbell that the lense got so bad I bought a new unit. It is wired and on the same wifi as the old one. The new doorbell doesnt record from 4pm to 8am even though I have not set any down time for it. Also it won't pick up some motion in a zone that the old one picked up. I've reset zo
