I question how much ring listens to their customers. Here we are what 3+ years later and this SIMPLE EASY TO MAKE CHANGE has STILL not been implemented. I guess it is a way to punish their customers who want to downgrade.

While cancelling my Standard plan, it showed me warning that all videos will be deleted, but after cancelling it gave me option to subscribe to Basic plan which I quickly did and I still see my old videos. Not sure if they will be deleted later.

Hi @user_a8d0d4. There is a very short grace period after canceling a plan. A new plan must be applied within 15 minutes to retain your videos. This is why we still advise users to download their videos first to prevent them from losing any important recordings due to unforeseen delays when changing or upgrading their plans.
