Can't use bridge 2nd gen

I have ring A19 light at the front door and a ring bridge 2nd gen.

The ring setup is so buggy that proper setup cannot be completed.

- I know Amazon sidewalk can be used directly with the A19 light and bridges are no longer necessary but sidewalk does not work reliably. It fails to control the light often despite saying good signal, and I want to use the bridge I paid for. The schedules also don't work.

- The wi-fi signal is excellent and bridge is very close to the bulb and router.

- When setting up the the A19 bulb, ring software will not read the QR code no matter what (the QR code is clear and not washed off on the bulb) but it does read the QR code on the bridge instantly (I have noticed the qr code on the bulb is grey while it is black on the bridge and environment is well lit, phone: samsung s25 ultra) My phones camera software also instantly reads the QR code on the bulb so it is the ring software. I know I can input the 5 digit pin manually but that is yet another bug as the app literally forgets about it and gets you into a loop where you can never finish setup.

- If you set up the the bridge it works and appears in the app but when you are setting up the A19 light it will not detect it as an available source and only gives you options to use amazon sidewalk or setup a new bridge. If you tap back then it gets stuck on a screen that says looking for sources indefinitely.

- At that point you have to remove the bridge from account, factory reset it and add it as a new device while setting up the A19. If you try to enter the 5 digit pin of the bridge while setting it up (because qr code is on the back of it and you need to unplug it) You can never complete the setup. If you do it by scanning the QR code, then the bridge again gets setup normally and it asks you whether you want to set up smart lightning and this brings you to square one. It doesn't recognize the bridge that is already setup and forces you to sidewalk or new bridge setup again.

- Despite the bridge being setup correctly and firmware updated and it's built in mini night light be controlled normally, it says no signal in the device health where the signal is actually perfect.

- In my previous home I had the bridge 1st gen and I was able to setup normally.
