Ring Doorbell Pro 4K Motion Sensitivity worse than previous models
I had the old Ring Doorbell Pro 1080 and I had the sensitivity set to MAX. This detected all sorts of motion, even when the wind blew a tree limb. With the new Ring Doorbell Pro 4K, even at the MAX sensitivity, it is bad. It won't even detect cars moving on the street.
Please fix the sensitivity and make it a lot stronger!

Hi @lancerev0. In addition to Motion Sensitivity, there are other settings that impact motion detection. How do you have your Motion Zones configured? Do you have Smart Alerts enabled? Smart Alerts can reduce the amount of motion alerts you receive by filtering out unwanted events, such as a tree branch moving in the wind.

LI have two zones setup. A main zone and package zone. I have Smart Alerts on. But these are exactly like the 1080 model. Exact same settings.
I guess the motion sensor on the new camera is just worse than the old model.
Can you ask engineering if they can adjust the sensitivity higher in a firmware update?

C@lancerev0 Are you experiencing issues with your Ring Doorbell detecting visitors at your door? Or is it only other motions, like cars driving on the road and branches swaying in the wind? Smart Alerts can help filter out unwanted notifications, so make sure alerts are turned on under Vehicle and Other Motion. Your Motion Zones should also be expanded to include the road.

Same experience here, the older model doorbell was much better. The sensitivity is horrible on the new model, even when you turn it to Max.

If you are more than 9m away from the street you will need to turn off birds eye zones in motion settings. Radar detection is limited and turning it off will go back to just using the camera detection.
