Ring doorbell pro not working anymore
Hi there, My Ring Doorbell Pro was working for a good year, however it suddenly stopped working at some point (about a month ago). I tried a hard reset to reconfigure. And the bell goes into setup mode (white light spinning fast), however, the setup is unable to succeed, the Ring wifi network that was suppose to show up is not anywhere to be found.Tried with 2 different phones and a tablet (all android), tried to find the wifi using a windows and a mac laptop. And none of them are able to detect it. Did a number of hard resets on the device, but it's always the same story.I have tried contacting the support number (00 800 87 00 97 81) as I live in Ireland, but I can't get past the language selection menu (line hangs up as if I hadn't press the number (tried with 1 and 2 for english and spanish as I am proficient in both). I bought this on amazon, so asked them what I could do about it since I have 2 years of warranty. They asked me to do a reasonable attempt to contact you via email. There seems to be no email that I can try. This seems to be the only option I have, as the chat is not available for issues. Is there a way to contact you to get this looked into?Edited to say, I am paying the Basic protection plan which extends the warranty to 2 years.Best regards,Adrian T.

Hi neighbors. Your Ring device creates a temporary "network" that you will use as an access point only during the setup process, before you connect it to your home wifi network. If you can't connect to the Ring network, try the following steps. Apple iOS Devices* **Reboot your mobile device** (shut it off completely), then try the setup process again.* **Change your cellular data setting.** If you don't see your home wifi network when you're setting up your device, one of your mobile device settings may be preventing setup. You can always switch your settings back after. [Learn how to access your cellular data](https://support.ring.com/hc/articles/217235826-Turning-Off-Cellular-Data-to-Address-In-App-Setup-Issues-on-iPhone-or-iPad).* **Change wifi settings.** This often helps when you're trying to connect to the Ring network. * Tap **Settings** (the gear icon), then tap **Wifi**. * Under this setting, you'll see a list of different network names. Below that list, tap **Ask to Join Networks**, then tap **Ask**. * Try setup again to see if the Ring temporary network appears.Android Devices- **Adjust network settings.** If you're using an Android device and can't connect to the Ring network, [you may need to adjust the Smart Network Switch.](https://support.ring.com/hc/articles/210002006-Troubleshooting-In-app-Setup-Issues-on-Android-devices)If these steps do not work, please follow up with our support team at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406#store-call-us). Ensure you are contacting our support team during their [hours of operation](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/213608406#store-opening-hours) to get connected with someone.
