Ring Doorbell 2 won't reset
Our ring doorbell just randomly stopped working. 'Front door is offline and not capturing video.' We have done all the troubleshooting things, including fully recharging the battery. So there is now power, but after pushing the reset button (on the front in our model) the white circle light just turns off, then back on. It does not spin, nor does it change to flashing blue or anything. Is it just dead? We have had it for 6 years.

I am having the same sort of problem. Mine will not charge, reset or ring. The app says it’s offline. Tried all the troubleshooting (charged it for 2 whole days) and nothing. Just a dead useless expensive brick

Hi @user_d8ecb2. After inserting the fully charged battery into the Doorbell, hold down the setup button for 20 seconds to reset the Doorbell. Once the reset is complete, attempt to walk through a new setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device.
