I just purchased and started to install a new Wired Doorbell Plus (2nd Gen).  But I can’t get the doorbell to actually connect.   The white light is spinning and when I manually search I can see the ring network in my wifi list (- different name then the one I’m prompted to join during the setup - but I can’t get past this stage. I have tried a number of steps to troubleshoot, with the most recent attempt to manually enter the QR PIN code - now it is telling me the 5 digit pin is incorrect - but it’s the number on the instruction guide included in the box….. what am I supposed to do if the code is not being accepted during the set up?

    Thanks for the suggestion!  You were right, the QR code on the device was a different than the sticker on the instruction guide.  When I completed the set up using the pin directly on the device instead, it connected immediately - quick and easy!

    Try scanning the one that is either under the faceplate or on the label on the back. Someone might have stuck the wrong code on the manual.

        I have the same problem and according to research, this is a KNOWN Ring issue with this model.  The one I bought was "refurbished" and purchased directly from Ring.  Never again.  It says no longer returnable.
