I have two ring 2 doorbells. One has been unused and is not on my ring subscription. My primary ring device has a weak battery. How do I switch from my primary to my backup unit. The backup is on my app, so this is about switching which one saves video.

    Hi @user4970. You can't swap your Ring Protect plan from one device to another to swap which device has the recordings saved. If you have two of the same Doorbell and one is not currently being used but has a fully charged battery, you could swap that battery into the Doorbell that you are using while you charge the battery.

      So you’re saying you can’t select which doorbell camera records to the cloud for replay even when you pay the yearly fee for one recording device? It will pick whichever one the system wants and you can’t change it?
