Switching from solar powered to wired.
I am not very satisfied with the solar power unit, as I often have to remove the doorbell to charge it. I hesitated to wire it initially because there is a light switch box inside at the same location.My question is, Does ring have a blank cover the same size as the solar unit, to mount the Ring Doorbell, so that the original screw holes are covered? I can't afford to replace the framework around the door, just for sake of appearances.

Also, I live on a busy street, so with battery operations I have to be very selective with motion detection setup. I would like to be able to record full time to pick up interesting happenings, like the one today. A delivery driver was forklifting product to the neighbor across the street, and had the forklift about 5 feet off the ground, when he went from the road to the driveway slightly off angle. I saw it happen but couldn't get my phone going to record it!.
