I did go through troubleshooting article and followed all possible ways that might be the solution, then stayed on the phone with support team for about an hour tried to fix the issue, unfortunately, problem remains the same.

This was happening to me. Do you happen to wear an Apple Watch? If so, go to the watch app on your phone \> Notifications \> Scroll down to mirrored iPhone alerts section \> turn off for Ring.

Posting this tip as it wasn't in any of the troubleshooting I found online. I had the same issue on my iphone, no ring even though I had all the notifications set properly, ringer turned on/up, no do not disturb set etc. I finally stumbled upon a section in the Ring doorbell settings in the app where you set the "App Alert tones" Its burried like 5 levels deep. you go to Devices, select your ring doorbell, then Device settings, Notification settings, then App Alert Tones. I found that no ring tone was selected in the dialog here. Once I selected one, everything worked!!!
