Ring connecting to remote ip address

network
Looking at my network traffic I see my ring camera connecting to remote ip address XX.XX.XX.XX. 18 219 201 227
Is this part of ring’s cloud network?
Can you tell me if this is a safe connection?

- URing cloud network The IP address XX.XX.XX.XX is part of the Ring cloud network, which is used for Ring cameras. If you are concerned about this connection, it is advisable to verify its safety and understand the implications of using such a remote IP address for your network. Sprinklr•

This recently started happening to me as well. It seems the doorbell is trying to connect to a remote location with a different IP address once a day. I contacted support and they walked me through resetting the doorbell, and immediately after completing the steps it tried to connect to a remote IP again. My Armor security software is blocking it every time, but I don't know why this started happening recently. Support said I had to contact our internet provider because its not the device making the connection attempts which doesn't make sense to me.
