Ring battery not detecting vehicles

Will a spotlight cam Pro detect vehicle vehicles that pull into your driveway better than a ring battery doorbell. I installed a brand new ring battery doorbell on the front of the garage mainly so I would be notified when a vehicle pulls in the driveway. It will detect people, but not cars. I have changed about every setting that has been recommended to me or that I have researched and it will not detect vehicles.
