Powering Off Ring Doorbell

Does anyone know if you can power off a Ring doorbell? I can't find anything online or in Ring's help section about it. Basically, I upgraded from an OG Ring Doorbell to the 2020 version, so the old one is back in it's box. Can I power it off, or do I have to wait for the battery to discharge? Thanks, I appreciate any input.

Hi @Raven2k360. You don't need to power the Doorbell off, but I would recommend removing it from the Ring App if you are not going to be using it. On the device profile page for your original Doorbell, tap on Device Settings > General Settings > Remove This Device. If you plan to use the Doorbell again, you can simply charge the battery and set it back up in the Ring App at that time. :)
