Outside Doorbell Sound Not Working
I have a battery powered ring doorbell 2 that I hardwired to my existing doorbell. The existing mechanical doorbell ring just fine, but there is no sound outside on the device when pressing the button. I have the volume on the app up all the way as well. I’m not sure what I’m missing. Appreciate any suggestions!

Hi, Was wondering if the reboot helped. I have the same issue. I have 2 Ring Doorbells and one works fine, but the other one does not. I can hear the person outside, but the person outside cannot hear me from inside. I've did the reboot and all of the settings are the same for both doorbells. Is there any thing else that I might be able to try? Thanks, Rick Edit: I found out how to do a factory default by removing the device and pressing the orange button om the back and then reconnected to my Wi-Fi and it is now working!

Hi @Cabbey. When adjusting the volume of the ringer for the Doorbell, make sure you're going to Device Settings > General Settings > Volume Settings. This is separate from the App Alert Tones under Notification settings. If you've changed the volume you there and still do not hear the ringer, try a reboot from the Device Health page.
