Mount Issue
I have a battery doorbell. I used the orange tool to get the doorbell off the mount and now it won't go back on. It won't click onto place on the bottom orange latch

Mine is having the same issue as user_ffd5ca and your video is useless as it doesnt snap back in, hence the concerns being raised. Any useful advice available please?

CHi @user_068326. The video shared demonstrates how to install the Battery Doorbell onto the mount, starting from the top and pressing until you hear a click. Make sure you're applying light pressure. If you're still unable to install the Doorbell, you can contact our support team directly @Ring on Facebook, X, or Instagram.

I have the same problem with the Ring doorbell (2024 model). It will not latch onto the bracket. Seems like my unit has a faulty latch…

UCheck your bracket is level to your wall. I just pulled it slightly towards the doorbell and it clicked into place.

I am having the same issue. The bottom clip seems to be defective, possibly damaged. I have tried all recommended troubleshooting to no avail. I have also watched all the YouTube videos and none of it resolves or addresses my issue. Currently the only thing keeping my ring doorbell in place is the top 2 hooks. Can you please provide a solution/advice for fixing the defective bottom clip? Or will I need to invest in some double sided tape to secure down the bottom of the device?

Hi @user_ffd5ca. Check out this youtube video here, where it demonstrates how the doorbell clicks into place. This should help and the video is less than a minute long.
