Motion detection notification not “snoozed” to Alexa

I got called out for work tonight and didn’t get home again until midnight. When I got home I went on the Ring app and put a 30 minute snooze on motion warnings. I thought that’d allow me to enter my house without notifications going out over the five Echo devices in my house. That didn’t happen and my wife is “un-thrilled”.
Is there a way to do what I’m trying to do?
