Hard wired video doorbell battery level drops - now 3%

Since 2020 I have a Video Doorbell 3 which is hardwired and up until now worked fine - we had a "low battery" event during last winter.I learned then that cold outside temperature may cause that the slow trickle-charge coming from the wire might not enough in these circumstances.Today I checked my "Device Health" and I saw a 3% battery level. The outside temp is 20 celsius now, so it can not be the root cause. When I push the button on the ring, the good-old house bell rang, so the wiring is OK.What could cause the battery depletion, how long a ring battery should last?

Hi @zsolt. When a battery device is hardwired, it still primarily operates off of the battery, with the hardwiring serving as a means to trickle charge and help maintain the battery level. Depending on the number of events the device is recording and the RSSI of the device, it the battery may be discharging faster that the hardwire is charging. You can learn more about this here.
