Stickup Camera plugin vs battery with Solar Panel
I think I may have incorrectly ordered the wrong camera. I purchased a stickup pan tilt "plug-in", when I needed to order a stickup pan tilt "battery" ...to go with the solar panel I also purchased. When I connect the solar panel there is no power to the camera. I dragged out a 100' power cord and connect it to the camera ...turns on & works. However, as soon as I disconnect from AC cord it dies!I called technical support and I don't think she understood my theory ...she had me go through a series of troubleshooting and then said I had a defective battery and is shipping me a new one.Do I need to return the "plug-in" and get a "battery' version?

Hi @user_4451cb. A Solar Panel does not power on a Camera. It only trickle charges the battery that is in the camera. Therefore, if you are using a solar panel with your camera, it needs to have a battery in it.
