is there a way to retrieve previous footage from a Ring doorbell that at the time, you did not pay a subscription for, but do now?

Hi @user_a74257. No, an active Ring subscription is required for access to video recording. Subscriptions also do not apply retroactively, so you cannot view events that happened when you did not have a plan.
