Outdoor camera not flashing blue

I can’t set up only one of my outdoor ring cameras anymore, the light will turn blue but not flash and then goes off. I’ve done everything it says in faq and do it yourself and is it just done for good? It’s not the battery as the battery worked in another unit. It doesn’t flash any other color or change to any other color. Turns blue for 10 seconds and then does nothing….

If you're running into difficulty setting up your Ring Camera or Doorbell, first make sure it is receiving sufficient power. Devices with a battery should be fully charged, and hardwired devices must be connected to a compatible power source. Then, follow the prompts in the Ring app under Set Up a Device. We have troubleshooting tips to fix setup issues here: https://ring.com/support/articles/8i61o/fixing-setup-issues. You can also reset your Ring Doorbell or Camera by holding down the setup button for 20 seconds. If you're still unable to set the device up, or it is unresponsive after trying the steps, please follow up with our social support team @Ring on Facebook, X, or Instagram for further assistance.

Hi @2lilAgirls. Can you share what specific model camera this is? Try resetting your device by pressing and holding the setup button for 20 seconds, then releasing it. This should cause your device to enter setup mode. Let me know if this helps.

I’m having this exact same issue with my newest generation stick up cam battery. Nothing I do will get the blue light to flash and connect to my phone.

Hi @user_3b3214. Make sure your Ring Doorbell or Security Camera is sufficiently powered, then hold down the setup button for 20 seconds. After the reset is complete, walk through a new setup in the Ring app using the steps under Set Up a Device. If these troubleshooting steps don't work, please follow up with our support team for further assistance.

There are several threads on this topic and no-one is answering the question being asked. What do you do if you're having problems connecting to the camera and you CAN'T access the setup button to press it?

I was thinking the same thing. I bought 3 cameras and the 1 will not work. I have tried everything. Press reset button multiple times, and the battery is fully charged.  Help!
