Outdoor camera misting up in cold, wet weather, footage unusable, seal issue or wider fault?
We’re having an ongoing issue with our outdoor cameras at night misting up whenever the weather turns cold and wet, to the point where the footage becomes unusable. The cameras sit on the ledge of our patio doors, so they do have a degree of protection and are not on wet ground.
I’m trying to understand whether this is likely to be a problem with the rubber seals, condensation forming inside the unit, or something more inherent in the design or manufacturing.
Has anyone else experienced this, and if so, did you find a fix that actually worked long term?
Any advice, practical tips, or confirmation that this is a known issue would be really appreciated.

We are experiencing the exact same issues and have found it impossible to speak to anyone at Ring.com about this. The telephone numbers just don't connect to anyone and the online chat is useless.
