Floodlight pro mounting issue!

I am trying to mount my new floodlight wired pro to an existing vinyl siding mounting block that we had out old ring up on. However, when I use the supplied mounting bracket (rectangular metal piece) into the holes there is not a good seal with plastic bracket once it is screwed in. I ordered the spare parts (as it showed a flat metal bracket) thinking I would be able to put it inside the vinyl siding mounting block however, what was sent was the same one that was supplied (which was a metal bracket with a bend in it). So, I have to send it back and I still can't mount the floodlight pro. Not sure what to do to mount the floodlight camera.
