- EUnfortunately, the lens cover is not glass, but a material that severely degrades over time. Mine is the same way, which negates the purpose of the doorbell. If I cannot find a replacement part, then I will need to abandon this product and try to find a product with an actual glass lens that can be cleaned, the same as a window. And before anyone suggest it to be the connection, my wifi averages 755 mbps up/down, so absolutely no problem with Internet.•

- FI am having the exact same issue with my two outside cameras. Stong Wifi and everything is blurry like that. I have a third one, recording inside and it is perfect. It is super disappointed as the cameras are useless now and I can't even return as they are with me for almost a year.•

If the lens on your Video Doorbell or Security Camera appears blurry, please use a dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe down the lens of any dirt or condensation. I'd also recommend ensuring any protective plastic or films have been fully removed from your Ring device. You can also find solutions from other neighbors here on the Community, such as this thread.
If the lens itself is clean and the video is still blurry, check the RSSI to make sure your Doorbell or Camera is receiving a stable wifi connection. A weak or unstable wifi connection can affect the video quality. Should this concern persist after checking all of the above, please follow up with our support team for further assistance. You can get in touch at one of the numbers here, or on Facebook @Ring by sending a private message.•1

UI have tried all those things. The images were clear then they suddenly were not. The lens appears clear when looking directly at it however, very blurred images now.

In my case, the camera gets full sun in the afternoon. After an attempt at normal cleaning that did not work, I tried a trick I've used on car headlight lenses that blur over time due to being exposed to sunlight.....TOOTHPASTE. Wet your finger and put on some regular toothpaste. Rub the toothpaste onto the lens for a few seconds (I did it about 20 -30 seconds). Wipe off the toothpaste with a damp paper towel and then dry with a dry towel/cloth. I would avoid any kind of abrasive towel/cloth. Cleared mine up beautifully. Hope it works for you!
