Full disclosure. Forgot to say that very first time I used, it worked. Then it started an update, and I had to leave and take my phone - but the cam stayed powered on and connected to internet. Possible that it bricked itself because removing the phone connection? Odd, since I didn't download the update so it had to be loading/installing the update from the internet, yes? Jimmy

Hi @user_d0c39c. When this happens, do you noticed a specific light pattern on your device?https://ring.com/support/articles/4bv0r/Understanding-Indoor-Cam-and-Pan-Tilt-Indoor-Cam-light-patternsThis can let you know what error your device is encountering. Try connecting the device to a wifi hotspot and see if you get the same results.
