Turn Off Motion Sensor Alerts When Alarm Is Disarmed

I am a new Ring Alarm user. I cannot find a way to turn off alerts from motion sensors when the system is Disarmed. As far as I can tell, there is no way to do this. Such alerts are highly annoying as one cannot move around the interior of one's own house without generating alerts. I see that many others have complained about this same thing. Why has this issue not been addressed? It would seem that a very minor software edit is required.
