Chime will not set up
troubleshooting

I changed router and hence new WIFI name. The doorbell was fine but the chime wouldn't connect. Tried a 'million' times, no joy. I removed chime device so I could re-set up. Will not setup, gets to final stages and says Hmm something went wrong. I followed all of the troubleshooting instructions and tried the obvious including re-installing the doorbell and changing the network to 2400ghz only. has anyone had similar? is it a dead parrot or merely sleeping?
