My wife got the ring door bell but won’t let me have access to it. I see I can make my own login name etc. when I downloaded the app. can I continue and add the same device onto my own person account or would that mess up what she has on hers for it?

- BDThe Shared Access invite steps sound straight forward and simple...if it worked. I have been using the app in my phone for 6 months and only realized today that I was the only person getting the Ring alerts. I resent the Shared User invite to my wife (also activated the slider button to share the doorbell device). She already has the Ring app installed on her phone - She used the invite to create a personal Ring account and app shows that she is logged in. The app does not list any devices despite accepting my invite. - My phone’s Ring app still shows that she has not accepted the invite so we logged he out at her app and logged back in. No change. - I deleted her Shared User instance and repeated the whole process....same result Is my account and setup corrupt in some way? I cannot find anything in community board or Internet that addresses this. This should be a brain dead simple process for any level of user•

CHi @Killian312. If the suggestions previously offered in this thread don't do the trick for you, then I'd recommend touching base with our support team so they can take a deeper look and help get this resolved. You can give our support team a call at one of the numbers available [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-us/articles/213608406). We’re taking additional steps to protect our team and help reduce the spread of COVID-19, so this has resulted in longer than normal wait times. If you are outside of the US, please read our response to COVID-19 [here](https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360041597471) to see how to contact support.•1

- EI don't have time to call your 800 number. I work. Please explain my there is no device to access when my husband shares the invite with me. It is clearly a problem for other people, and I imagine you have an answer.•

- UAfter you send the link via email, check your spam folder. I use Gmail and whenever I have Ring send me an email, it only shows up in my spam inbox. It will NOT show up in your regular inbox. If you don't see it in your spam folder, check the other inboxes if there is any. If you use Gmail, there is also an inbox folder called "all mail". Again, check your spam folder first because emails from Ring go straight to your spam inbox by default and you'll never see it unless you go and open the spam folder. This should solve your problem.•
