I’m returning a ring doorbell Pro 3rd gen for warranty replacement. They said they’ll be sending me a new device….. am I able to keep the face plate from the device as a spare and the mounting brackets or must I send those back with the original device? at first customer support said I didn’t need to return the original device but then I got a shipping label to send it back so obviously I do I called and asked them if I need to send the face plate in mounting brackets back or if I could keep them as extras and they said to send them back with the device even though one of the community questions that’s been answered. Says you can keep the face plate and accessories so I’m unsure of what exactly I’m required to send back. I would like to keep the face plate because my other ring doorbell Pro has a looser face plate and this one fits better.
