I have also received this email.
Here's my major issue:
• I create a unique email address for use with ring.com and no-one else. I never shared this email address with anyone other than ring. I have periodically changed the email address
• The email I received like yours has my name and an old ring-only email address
I am now left to wonder:
• Did I leak this email address and my name to the spammer? (and I really make sure I don't leak my email addresses by limiting their use)
• Did Ring.com leak this email address and my name to the spammer?
Since you have also received this email, may be I didn't leak it, but ring.com did... and they haven't told me that there was a risk and my (ring.com) email address and name were made available to scammers?
I am extremely unhappy about this. I think there is enough proof that ring.com has lost data and didn't proactively inform me.
