Alarm Pro
I ordered the Alarm Pro system and thought it would be very easy to set up. I should have read reviews of the eero network before I began instead of using my existing wifi network, but I didn't. I set it up using eero and was having a lot of trouble connecting to wifi. Finally, I deleted eero and tried re-setting the alarm pro up using my own network. Still can't get it to connect.Any suggestions?? Thanks!

It sounds really frustrating to go through all that setup work only to keep running into connection issues. Since you initially set up the Alarm Pro using the eero network and then removed it, there may still be some leftover settings causing conflicts. A good first step is to completely factory-reset the Alarm Pro so it forgets the previous network attempts. After that, reboot your own WiFi router and make sure you’re connecting to a 2.4GHz network, since many smart home devices won’t connect to 5GHz. Also double-check capzcutpro.com that your network name and password don’t have any unusual characters that might cause pairing failures.

Hi @ElaineK. The Ring Alarm Pro has a built-in router, so it is designed to replace your existing router. There are alternative configurations, where the Alarm Pro does not replace your router. You can view all setup options here: https://ring.com/support/articles/z07bv/Options-for-Setting-Up-Your-Alarm-Pro. Which setup option were you looking to use?
