Hi @user_fd3cd5. No, you will not be able to accomplish this. Shutting power off to the Floodlight Cam will shut off the lights and camera.

A better suggestion would be to have ring develop a light switch that replaces existing switch to work with ring light(s). You would install inline with existing wiring and it would allow a ring spotlight to receive constant power and would connect to wifi to be able to turn your spotlight on and off. It would make installation for much easier and could even control multiple lights if necessary. It would override the light sensor and light timeout. Essentially acting like a normal light switch for the ring spotlight products. This would be a hot seller and is arguably one of the most hated and missed features when installing a ring spotlight; the inability to control the light via the wall switch and not having the light timeout. You're welcome ring no patent necessary just send this to your product team and enjoy the revenue. Yours truly, Tony Tarini
