Feature Request: Shorter Cord for the new Ring Outdoor Cam Plus, Plug-In

I just purchased the new Ring Outdoor Cam Plus, Plug-In and it works fine. The cable it came with is too long and bulky and wanted to see if a shorter power cable is available. The cord is fine, but it way too long and bulky to have it by the front door where I mounted it. Ring Technical Support says that is the only cable and doesn't suggest using another cable (i.e. USB-C cable with power adapter) because it may damage the device.
