Floodlight - lightbulbs burnt out
I am not sure if anyone else has ran into this issue, but I have had my floodlight camera for about 5-6 years now and the lightbulbs are starting to go out. One is super dim and the other is flashing indicating almost out of life. I contacted support as I was unable to find replacement bulbs anywhere on Ring.com or online anywhere. They told me my camera was only under warranty for ONE YEAR, and all they can provide me now is a 35% off coupon code to REPURCHASE and REINSTALL a new device entirely. This is MADNESS!!!! I already purchased the camera once, and pay for a yearly subscription, I should NOT have to repurchase this item because the lights went out. 35% off is a slap in the face, this does not make me want to repurchase a new camera one bit. If anything it makes me want to buy new products with another company that actually cares about the quality of their products AND services. I was on the phone with customer service for over an hour and a half trying to find some resolution to this. I was ignored, talked over, and was just going in circles. If you are unable to provide replacement parts for your products that is a huge design flaw on Rings end, as well as it is very infuriating to a paying customer to be forced to replace the entire product when only one part isn't working... I should be offered AT LEAST 50% off as I have already purchased this item once, along with my 3 other cameras I have around my house. Why would I want to repurchase an item that WILL go out again in 5-6 years???????? My floodlight camera is also hardwired in, so i not only need to purchase a new camera, but I need to reinstall it, even though I have a working camera already attached. This is so not right and ring should definitely get this issue fixed ASAP!!!!! Not to mention I live in a VERY dangerous city with an extremely high crime rate. I am a woman who is home alone often, this is putting my safety at risk and should be taken seriously!!!!

Hi @user_d2afb0. Correct, there is only a 1 year warranty on all of our devices. If you are subscribed to a compatible Ring Protect Plan, you are eligible for an extended warranty. You can learn more here.
