Hi neighbors. The video playback for recordings is not sped up or slowed down. If you've downloaded the video, you can scrub through the playback at your own speed. If you are referring to the playback our Snapshot Capture, this is also not adjustable. Try taking a screen recording of the event you are trying to view and then using your phones built-in interface to view the video at a speed that works for you. :slightly_smiling_face: [quote="Chelsea_Ring, post:9, topic:5840"] If you’re noticing that the playback in your Event History Timeline seems to go by too fast, please ensure you are watching videos when doing this and not watching the Snapshots that were captured in between. So, if I’m correct, what the Ring team is saying is that if you want to be able to view video footage in the past in real time speed you shouldn’t spend your $250-$300 on a ring device. Because essentially the ring device is only good to let you know that your Amazon package was delivered or watching a time lapse sunset. But You could spend that $250-$300 on Amazon to buy 8 Wyze ($25ea) cameras and 8 32gb micro sd cards ($5-$7ea) that can be set up to record on motion detection and/or sound and be able to watch footage from about 14 days in the past in real time speed with crystal clear HD video without paying for a subscription. Unless of course they figure it out how to fix this problem.

So has this issue been resolved? It's now May 2021 and I don't find anything else on this community showing how to see these videos that are too fast???

My RING doorbell camera captured my neighbor's mailbox being hit by a car. 5 mins after the event, I cant replay the video slowly enough to show the police. Help @Ring !

Seems like an easy feature would be for the user to choose the piece of the timeline they want to view and slow it down. The server would then unpack the footage it has compressed and send it back to the user to view at the speeds they choose. It doesn’t happen enough to bog down the servers and this should be a feature if users are paying the premium service. Otherwise what’s the point. This will be a feature I look for when I replace my system in a year or two
