Keeping the ring doorbell warm in very cold climates
I think Ring should produce some type of "thermal cover " that can easily be slipped over an already installed Ring doorbell to keep it insulated during prolonged cold weather in winter climates .I realize most of their customers won't have this issue but I am located in Canada where there can be a week or two in winter when it gets very cold and drains the battery quickly .Mine is hard wired so once the temperature warms up a bit the battery automatically gets recharged and taking the doorbell inside to warm it up isn't practical because the install screws are so small that it's challenging to take on and off .Some sort of removable insulated cover would help and I haven't been able to find one online. There are existing ones but they are mainly for rain shielding purposes.

Check out BellSkynn on Etsy. The covers help add insulation to the cameras
