“I have a Ring Video Doorbell (battery) that went offline. I successfully reconnected it and it now works perfectly on my wife’s iPhone and on ring.com via my laptop. However, on my own iPhone 14 the Ring app will not let me sign in. I always get a ‘406 Not Acceptable’ (or sometimes just ‘Not acceptable’) error on the sign‑in screen.
I have already: deleted and reinstalled the Ring app multiple times, restarted the phone several times, turned Wi‑Fi off and tried on mobile data, cleared Safari history and website data, reset Network Settings, and tried logging in via both Safari and Chrome. The same 406 error only happens in the Ring app on this one iPhone; the same account works fine on my wife’s iPhone and on the web. It looks like my specific device or IP/session is being blocked by your servers. Please clear any security or firewall blocks on my iPhone and/or advise how to remove this 406 restriction.”

Hi @user_a95639. It sounds like you may have an active VPN on your phone. Try disabling your VPN and seeing if you still get this error.
