I am installing an older video doorbell. The back has a QR code and bar code ![16884993601495064899601114570886|500x500](upload://zVmGxQUIEKvXA69gkqyuBkoGB9d.jpeg) that won't scan AND there is no pin #. What should I do?

Hi @Laraywhite. The older models of certain Doorbells do not have PIN codes but they can still be setup in the Ring app without scanning and without entering a PIN code. For your Doorbell, follow these steps: - Open the Ring app - Choose the menu button (three lines in the upper left corner). - Select Set Up a Device - Select Doorbells and then tap on I'm Ready To Scan. - Do not scan; instead, select Other Options and tap on Can't scan the QR code. - Tap on Enter Code Manually. - Select the Doorbell that just says "Video Doorbell", and then it will let you continue on with your setup. I hope this helps.

The app just stops after connecting to the Ring network to do manual set-up when QR code isn't available.

Hi @user_e5a7a9. You are getting to the setup step where it asks to connect to the Ring network but get an error message there? What does the message say?
