Buyer Beware - Promo For Free Install is a Scam
I am very disappointed that Ring is resorting to deceptive practice of fooling customers into believing that free installation will be provided for ordering products. Ring is clearly running a pathetic scam. They promise an email with a promo code for free installation after purchase of a product is completed. Alas I believe they never intended to deliver on that promise. They will give lame excuses and tell you that you are no longer eligible for the free install because you accepted other discount offers or got a yard sign, yada yada yada. I never agreed to any discount when I bought the wired doorbell pro but they claim I that I availed of it so I cannot get the free installation promotion. Ring ought to face a class action suit for this SCAM. Buyers beware. Do not trust this dishonest company. I have all the screenshots of the offer to prove they deceived me. Ring should be taken out of business.

You are LYING again! I ordered equipment 6/30/25 promised installation code then told codes expired needed to get new one from company. I returned equipment don’t want to install the crooks in my home! Ring is the thief that needs we need protection against!

Same experience Ring stated they ran out of promo codes. I’m returning all equipment before 30 days. I’m also going to contact local media concerning Ring’s deceptive practices. Glad I found this was scam before having equipment before 30 days.
