Brand new battery cam
troubleshooting
After waiting forever to speak to customer no service (it ended up being a bot). Found out everything I’d done was correct; however my cam barely picks up any activity. I had replaced a very old cam with a badly scratch lens and it was still picking up beautifully. Now I have a new one that does nothing, nothing. I’m so irritated. May try a reset, I don’t know what else to do. :-(

Hi @user_50d6d6. I'm happy to advise on general troubleshooting, but I need more information first. Which model of Ring camera is this? You can find the device name on the Device Health page in the Ring app. How do you have your motion settings configured? This includes things like the motion sensitivity and Smart Alerts. If you feel comfortable, please also share a screenshot of how your Motion Zones are set up.
