Bait and Switch

I ordered a wired Ring Video Doorbell Pro on September 1, 2025, to replace my other one that stopped working out of warranty. I was told the new wired Video Doorbell Pro would arrive by Monday, September 8, 2025. I called Ring today (September 8, 2025) just to check on the delivery progress. Now the representative says my order is still "pending" and won't ship until September 27, 2025. The representative today told me that the reason for the delay is because my wired Ring Video Doorbell Pro is "out of stock." The representative I spoke with on September 1, 2025, should have told me that it was out of stock on the day I bought it (a week ago). This not a good look for Ring and it is definitely not good customer service.
