Mount for stick up cam (2nd 3rd gen)

Hi-I’m getting ready to purchase an outdoor stick up cam. The site is proposing as an option, a mount (for $19.99). It looks to me like a mount comes with the camera…. So why would I need this other mount? Are they different? I am not putting it on the ceiling.Thanks,JB

Hi @JPBern. The Stick Up Cam comes equipped with a baseplate that you can mount to a surface. There are additional mounts that allow for more flexibility if you were mounting in an awkward position. In most cases, the standard mount is great.
