Received a replacement Ring spotlight cam with battery. Battery fully charged then placed in device. Within minutes battery needs a recharge 

( green & orange lights on). Ring app shows device health with 100% charged battery with battery installed and “ without any batteries-

    Hi @user_cb7759. When you remove the batteries from your Ring device, it will report the last battery percentage recorded before going offline. Additionally, as long as your camera is online and showing a 100% battery charge, there's no need to plug the battery into a charger to check the light patterns.
