Notifications problem since ios26
Before iOS26, I had a snapshot notification on the iPhone, watch and iPad but with iOS26, I no longer have a snapshot notification but just a notification on the iPad nothing on the iPhone and watch. I went thru YouTube vids, scoured the internet and nothing. I also placed the iPad and iPhone side by side and went thru settings and they are identical. Placed my sister's iPhone next to mine and went thru each setting, she gets notifications mine doesn't. I even visited Ring's support and followed each step numerous times including off loading the app and reinstalling.
I also noticed that I'm not alone with this issue. I'm having nightmares over this lol okay a little over the top. On iOS 26.3 and the Ring app is up to date.

Another issue, on the Echo 8, when a ring camera says, there's a person...it would open the camera but most of the time, I have to say Alexa for the camera to open.
I tried turning off and unplugging the Echo but most of the time no improvement. AAiieeee!!! lol. There's also about a 3 second lag. I will try logging in and out again but...

CHi @user_882be2. Is this a Ring security camera or a doorbell? With Alexa Announcements enabled, compatible Echo devices with a screen will show you a Live View from your doorbell for 15 seconds after the doorbell is pressed. The Live View will not be shown automatically with motion detection.

UThe Echo Show 8 used to state the alert about a person at one of the cameras then show the camera feed. Now, it happens once in a while and when it doesn't show the feed, I say, "Alexa" and the feed opens. It happens on and off.

Hi @user_882be2. Is Focus mode or Do Not Disturb enabled on your phone? Are you logged into the same Ring account on both the iPhone and the iPad? Try logging out of your Ring account on all devices, then log in on just your iPhone and test out notifications. Make sure Ring and Motion Alerts are turned on in the app after logging back in. I would also suggest turning notifications off on the watch when you test this.
