Where is the tamper button?

I bought a house with an existing ring security system. I am having trouble getting the devices back online. I am trying to follow troubleshooting instructions which keep referring to the tamper button on the 1st gen contact sensors but can’t find a photo of where this is and am having trouble identifying on my device. Could someone direct me on this? Thanks!

Hi @cbmd81. With the Contact Sensor open and battery clearly visible, you should see a small, black button on a metal square in the corner of the sensor. That is the tamper button. When you press this button, you should get notifications on your phone that the sensor has been tampered.
