Sensor requires bypass

I'm getting a sensor requires bypass when I arm my ring. It is a back door but the sensor looks fine. how can this be reset???

    Hi @jevans007. Why does the Sensor require bypassing? Is the Sensor offline, or is it stuck in a tampered state? You can check its state in your list of devices for the Ring Alarm in your Ring app.

      I tested the batteries in mine and replacing them fixed this  "requires bypass" problem

        How do you check the batteries on door alarms?

        Hi @user_9351c3. You check your Alarm Contact Sensors' battery status in your sensors settings page in the Ring app
