- LI also have an chime. It have been working for about a year, but 2 days ago it was just flashing, app said it was offline. I tried to reconnect but it wont work. Tried «everything» it goes well unitl it is supposed to connect to wifi, it sees the wifi with strong signal. But refuses to connect. Tried to connect t another router aswell but does not connect to that either. Any suggestions?•

UI was able to get the firmware to update by using my stickup camera and resetting network. Now I still want to get the chime pro online. Doorbell works just doesn’t ring indoors

- WFor me it ended up being Location not turned on in my phone during setup. Took talking to a tech for about 15 mins before that came up. Odd how it never asked for that during setup.•

- LI upgraded my router and got the doorbell to connect to my wi-fi but the chime wouldn't. I spent several hours trying every way recommended. I then called ring support and the first tech made me redo everything I had already done several times before referring me to an advanced tech. He asked me about my phone, which is an android model. The first thing he had me do was, 1. go to settings, 2. go to the General Management setting, 3. push the Reset button, then push the Reset the Network Settings button, when it asks if you want to connect, press no so you have to renter your password, 4. then return to the Ring app and restart the process to add the chime to the network. When I did it that time, it set up the chime with no problem. After getting the chime back online don't forget to connect it to you ring doorbell.•

A"2. go to the General Management setting" @lewisburg03 can you please explain where that General Management setting is? I have a Pixel 2 (Android 11) and can't find it, even when using the search bar in the upper right of the settings app.•0

- SI am so frustrated at this process. Reaching someone for help has been a nightmare. Uggh! The chime is not connecting to the internet. I have rebooted the router, turned off my cell phone and tried the installation of this for months. OMG!! I had to give up. Since Covid it has been on my list of things to do so I tried for hours today and nothing, zilch, nada!! Is it defective?•
