i have a ring battery video doorbell with a solar charger. when 1st installed the battery charged to 100%, but now it has been stuck on 46% for several days despite the glorius sunshine. any ideas why?

My father has this same problem yet mine is fine at home. Could it be motion detecting is on too high and draining the battery faster than solar can charge it?
